We carried out a spawning monitoring program during Spring 2006 to identify winter Steelhead and spawning redds in Gales Creek. Spawning survey training continued in October 2007 for Coho salmon redds and March 2008 for winter steelhead trout and lamprey redds. Volunteers walked down selected stream reaches to perform the spawning surveys. Linked from this page are the materials needed to participate in the survey.
